Holidays can be very difficult times for families who have a child suffering from cancer or serious illness. Through your support, TLH provides local families in financial need with holiday gifts in December.

A cancer diagnosis takes an emotional and financial toll on families very quickly. With the average child in active treatment for 1-3 years, frequent hospital trips are filled with tests, procedures, and treatments resulting in continued anxiety and stress. Financial strains are magnified with increased expenses and decreased income due to lost time at work or loss of an entire family income. Family-to-Family responds to these challenges with a donor providing one family with the following items at five annual giving times:

Please consider adopting a Littlest Heroes family for the holidays or one year. You can adopt a family on your own or lead efforts to recruit a group of friends, family or co-workers to pool resources and funds. These giving opportunities provide 100% of your donation directly to the family in need.

Deadline for registration in either program is November 5, 2007.

Your Adopt a Family information including number of family members and ages, needs, wants and preferences will be provided to you via email, mail, or fax (by Wednesday, November 21st.) Those participating in the Family-to-Family Program will receive their information sooner so that preparations may be made for the Thanksgiving Dinner Baskets.
